WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?

EVERYONE is welcome to enter.

HOW DO I ENTER?

  • Purchase your BLANK POSTCARDS(s) from Harbour Bookshop Ulladulla or House of Jules Milton for $5 each (strictly CASH ONLY). This is also the entry fee.

  • Under 18 entry is FREE (if you download and print the postcard form yourself - this must then be glued to the back of your entry).

  • You may enter as many entries as you like.

  • Once you have your BLANK POSTCARD, create your original artworks on it, fill in the artwork details on the reverse and return it to the collection point by no later than 5pm on Sunday 27th September

WHERE ARE ENTRIES EXHIBITED?

Artworks will be displayed during ARTfest at the Prize Expo.

WHAT TYPE OF ARTWORKS ARE ACCEPTED?

You may use any technique, medium, or subject, as long as the artwork is original and is created on the postcard provided (or downloaded) . Entries must not extend beyond the edges of the square.

CAN I USE MY OWN POSTCARD?

Yes, but you must glue it to the ENTRY FORM, showing the entry details on the reverse. Eg: you can paint on canvas or another piece of paper and then glue it to the front of the entry. The size must be 148 X 105mm.

ARE SCULPTURES ACCEPTED?

Not really. Due to the high volume, works must be able to be stacked.  Some texture is permitted, but please ensure that it is not a delicate surface.

All works must be sealed and free from wet, loose, dangerous or flimsy material.

HOW WILL THE WORKS BE JUDGED?

Works will be judged by a guest judge. Works will be numbered. This will be the only identifying factor.

SHOULD I SIGN THE FRONT?

No. Works must be completely anonymous for judging. No names, initials or identifying symbols on the front. The back (entry form) must be signed.

CAN THE WORKS BE FOR SALE?

Yes.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THE EXHIBITION PERIOD?

Unsold works can be collected from the collection points where originally purchased.
