Once you have your BLANK SQUARE, create your original artworks on it, fill in the artwork details on the reverse and return it to the collection point by no later than 5pm on Sunday 29th September 2024 (or works can be delivered directly to the Civic Centre, Thurs 10th Oct 10-3pm_

WHERE ARE ENTRIES EXHIBITED?

Artworks will be displayed during ARTfest at the Ulladulla Civic Centre as part of the Prize Expo.

WHAT TYPE OF ARTWORKS ARE ACCEPTED?

You may use any technique, medium, or subject, as long as the artwork is original and is created on the square card provided. Entries must not extend beyond the edges of the square.

CAN I USE MY OWN SQUARE?

Yes, but you must glue it to the original square, showing the entry details on the reverse. Eg: you can paint on canvas or another piece of paper and then glue it to the front of the square entry. The size must be no greater than the 6" square.

ARE SCULPTURES ACCEPTED?

Not really. Due to the high volume, works must be able to be stacked.  Some texture is permitted, but please ensure that it is not a delicate surface.

All works must be sealed and free from wet, loose, dangerous or flimsy material.

HOW WILL THE WORKS BE JUDGED?

Works will be judged by a guest judge. Works will be numbered. This will be the only identifying factor.

SHOULD I SIGN THE FRONT?

No. Works must be completely anonymous for judging. No names, initials or identifying symbols.

HOW WILL THE PUBLIC KNOW MY WORK?

A grid of the works - artist, title and price - will be displayed beside the entries during the public exhibition.

CAN THE WORKS BE FOR SALE?

Yes.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THE EXHIBITION PERIOD?

Unsold works can be collected from the collection points where originally purchased.
