COPYRIGHT
The Escape ARTfest committee have the right to use any photos, film or other recordings taken of people or things whilst attending the festival for marketing, promotional or other purposes. Where images of artworks are used for publicity purposes, the artist will be named if space allows.
Sound/video recordings of performances cannot be made without prior written consent of the Escape ARTfest. Photographs taken at the festival cannot be published without prior consent of the Escape ARTfest committee.
INSURANCE INFORMATION FOR ARTISTS AND VENUES
The Escape ARTfest committee is insured for it's responsibilities including Public Liability with cover extending to include volunteers. It must be understood that whilst Escape ARTfest will take every care in working with artists and venues to ensure the safety of all concerned, ARTfest insurance cannot legally cover property which it does not own. For this reason exhibition and private event venues must ensure their own public liability insurance is current, and artists should seek insurance protection covering damage to artwork (e.g. Fire or Theft) if they so wish.
In the case of injuries to third parties, artists and venues, in conjunction with the Escape ARTfest committee, must also ensure that all measures are taken to provide for the safety of visitors at their event.
Insurance questions should be directed to the Escape ARTfest treasurer, Linda Lees - 0414 982 841.
