MILTON GALLERY WALK 2024

When? 5.00 - 7.30pm, Friday 11th October, Milton CBD.

What? A few glorious hours of Art, Music, Drama, Food and Wine, celebrating our unique and vibrant creative culture, featuring a variety of galleries and ‘pop-up’ galleries, listed below.

'Gallery-Walkers' will also enjoy a variety of musical acts and drama performances plus the Milton food and drink vendors as they wander.

Where? Start by collecting your map and purchasing your official ARTfest wine glass/ceramic cup at The Chambers Courtyard, then make your way to the venues in and around the Milton main street, all within an easy walk of each other. 

Cost? Free to the public to attend, food and wine purchases optional.​​

Milton has so much inspiration for Sue and Jenny who enjoy depicting the local environment. This exhibition includes a collection of works from the town they love living in. Sue has created beautiful works of our native flora and Jenny offers bright landscapes and townscapes. The title 'Quartier' is french for neighbourhood, a nod to the French themed Cafe & Post Office, which is the hub of the community.

Artist Julie Sydenham offers weekly classes and workshops in her Milton studio - House of Jules. Like a hive, the studio is a buzz of activity with many students attending classes each week. Jules set her students the challenge to create an artwork on a hexagonal shape for this exhibition. There were no limits on subject, media or style, which perfectly represents the diversity of activity in the studio.
